Why Therapy?

If your are suffering depression, post traumatic stress, experiencing difficulties in relationships, family concerns or any other issue that seems to be making life difficult then Therapy can help to manage and remedy the problem. Sometimes individuals come to therapy because they feel that they have lost a sense of purpose and life has lost its meaning. Therapy helps to explore our relationship to life and what might be stopping us living life more fully.

Therapy is an enriching experience even if at times it is not easy to go through. It is meant to make our lives better.

Core Process Psychotherapy

CPP has its roots in a Buddhist understanding of the human experience which believes that we carry the wisdom and the means to bring ourselves into health and well being. Through the process of increased self awareness we can have more access to our 'core' and allow our wisdom to influence our dailly life.

Western developments in Psychotherapy are crucial to undertanding and removing the inner blocks that prevent our own wisdom in having a bigger say in running our lives. Our past experiences often shape and control our present relationships, if these past experiences have been traumatic they can significantly affect how we experience the world today. By exploring these patterns within the safety of the therapeutic relationship it is possible to bring change.
